My Belief About Healing

As a Christian health practitioner, my approach to healing is grounded in the conviction that God is the Creator of all life, and that every human being is made in His image (Genesis 1:27). The human body, soul, and spirit are not separate, competing parts, but an integrated whole, wonderfully designed by God (Psalm 139:13–14). True healing is ultimately found in Him, and any practice I engage in is submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

I reject the belief in a “universal spirit,” impersonal life force, or any spiritual energy apart from the triune God. Healing does not come from channeling energy, invoking spirit guides, or aligning with cosmic powers. These are counterfeit sources that distort God’s design. Instead, I affirm that healing flows from God’s presence, His wisdom woven into creation, and His ongoing care for His people.

I believe:

  1. God is the source of all healing. He heals through prayer, the work of the Holy Spirit, the body’s God-given design, and through medicine, knowledge, and skill.
  2. The body is good. God declared His creation “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Touch, movement, and care for the body are not evil but are ways of honoring His design.
  3. Belief shapes practice. Every practitioner operates out of their worldview. My work is informed by Scripture, guided by prayer, and carried out transparently within Christian community.
  4. Discernment is vital. I seek to distinguish between God’s wisdom revealed in creation and practices rooted in false or occult systems. I embrace what aligns with God’s truth and reject what is contrary to His Word.
  5. Healing has purpose. Beyond physical well-being, true healing points us toward relationship with God, the ultimate Healer, who offers wholeness in Christ.

In this way, my practice differs from New Age and occult frameworks. I do not see healing as drawing on an impersonal force, but as honoring God’s created design and inviting His Spirit’s compassionate presence. I seek to serve others with integrity, excellence, and love, while always giving glory to the One in whom “we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28).
